Food safety and other training for the Catering and Hospitality sector

STP's Training Matters division is our food training practice, trading under the name Training Matters since 2001. STP Training Matters offers the catering and hospitality industry and their staff accredited training & examinations services, at basic, intermediate or advanced levels, candidate educational & work assessments, internal verification work or bespoke training relevant for your business and consultancy services. 

We usually mainly work in West London and the Home Counties. Examples of standard services include:

• Food Hygiene certificates, Health and Safety, COSHH certificate, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) courses.
• We provide consultancy in food preparation & cooking, food service and hotel management. 
• To colleges, other training providers, and employers with internal trainers, we also provide the following specialist educational services:
  • delivery of Catering & Hospitality NVQ courses (Food Prep and Cookery, Food and Beverage Service, ...) and work based training Apprentices.
  • Assessors
  • Verifiers
  • course team leader services
  • outsourced Curriculum management of a Catering & Hospitality section
• We are accredited for assessments for prior learning.
